Sustainable development
"Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs", Mrs. Gro Harlem Brundtland, Norwegian Prime Minister (1987).
In 1992, the Earth Summit in Rio, held under the aegis of the United Nations, formalized the notion of sustainable development and that of the three pillars (economy/ecology/social): economically efficient, socially equitable and ecologically sustainable development.
WBU brings together leaders in society to address the world's most pressing challenges. Our action has a direct impact on the environment. It is our responsibility to mitigate these impacts, through our professional activities in order to build and guarantee a sustainable future for future generations.
Our other projects
While aiming to make our own business more sustainable, WBU also strives to improve the sustainability of its operations internationally and to promote green and environmentally committed actors.
We surround ourselves with experts and leaders in energy transition and smartbuilding construction.
